Our founders, Vu Lam and Josh Lieberman have deep experience in software development. In 2010, they observed a shift in the market as companies were moving from traditional Waterfall development to Agile, releasing software at an increasingly rapid pace. While the methodology changed, the software tools used by the testing team were slow to catch up. As a result, software testing was the “bottleneck” to the Agile process.
Vu and Josh set out to create a modern software testing platform purpose-built for agile teams that would help them deliver high quality software at a rapid pace. The result was QASymphony which was started in 2011. Today QASymphony has over 600 customers, 15,000 users and has been widely recognized as the industry’s leading test management solution.
In June 2018, QASymphony and Tricentis announced plans to merge to drive innovation in continuous testing for enterprise DevOps initiatives. Tricentis’ market-leading Continuous Testing platform has earned the company unanimous “leader” recognition among the top industry analysts. Learn more about the merger.
We believe that great companies start with great people and we are very lucky to have assembled some of the best minds in the industry. Our team has grown QASymphony from a small startup to a global leader in software testing. And we’ve had a lot of fun along the way. We are always looking for top notch talent to add to our bench. Our Mission: To create solutions for agile development teams that significantly improve speed, efficiency and collaboration throughout the software testing process.

QASymphony joins with software leaders like Salesforce and Atlassian, taking the 1% Pledge to help improve communities around the world
“Since we started the company in 2011, we have been very focused on giving back to the community. We learned about the 1% Pledge from our partners at Atlassian. We see this program as a great way to increase our commitment and join a community of leading technology companies actively working to make the world a better place.”
