I am very excited to announce the appointment of Mike Vandiver as CFO of QASymphony. Mike is an extremely accomplished technology leader and he will help us scale the business for future growth.
I met Mike at Brown University over 30 years ago when we were both undergraduates. I have watched him become one of the top technology CFOs in the Southeast. Mike comes to us from Pindrop Security where he helped raise a $75 million Series C round of funding led by Google Capital. Prior to Pindrop, Vandiver served as CFO of Ingenious Med, a privately held healthcare software technology company. He also served for 10 years as EVP and CFO of SecureWorks where he helped grow that business from $1 million to $140 million in annualized revenue, leading to its acquisition by Dell in 2011 for over $600 million.
Mike joins QASymphony at a very exciting time. We just finished a record breaking second quarter of 2016. Below are just a few of the key highlights:
Year-over-year revenue growth of nearly 200%
Added several new enterprise customers including Boeing, Air Canada, DuPont, Sony, Robert Half and Frost Bank
Held our first annual user conference – Quality Jam – with over 200 attendees
Won several awards including the Red Herring Top 100, SD Times 100, Stevie Award and Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetter
Opened a London sales office and hired experienced software account executives to accelerate European growth
Expanded our relationships with several current customers including Cox Automotive, Pearson and Visa
Completed a debt financing with Bridge Bank adding an additional $3 million capacity to further strengthen our balance sheet
Grew our channel with the addition of several new Atlassian Partners including Manageware and Go2Group
Mike knows what it takes to build an early stage company to over $100 million, having done this when he was a key part of the team at SecureWorks. I firmly believe that Mike’s operational, financial and leadership talents, will help us take take our company to the next level.
Please join me in welcoming Mike Vandiver to the QASymphony family.
