QASymphony had a great time at TechWell’s StarWest Conference last week. And what better venue could there be for a software testing conference than “Happiest place on Earth” – Disneyland?
We got to listen to some great speakers and meet some great people. We also spent some quality time with two of our newer customers – American Equity and SolidFire. So much business is done virtually today, it’s easy to forget how great it is to sit down with your customers and actually have a face-to-face conversation.
Our booth in the exhibit hall was jam packed with people wanting to check out our software and of course get some free Tchotchkes. Our car chargers were a big hit and we ran out of our super comfy QASymphony t-shirts within the first 30 minutes! We’ll have to bring more next time. We had so much booth traffic that we even ran out of our brochures and had to run to Kinkos to get more printed.
TechWell did a great job keeping us well fed with Mickey Mouse shaped soft pretzels, ice cream bars and my personal favorite, chocolate covered rice crispy treats.
In case you missed the show, here are some of our favorite Tweets to give you a taste of StarWest. And if you’re headed to TechWell’s Better Software East in November, make sure to check out VP of Strategy & Business Development, Kevin Dunne and his presentation: “Exploratory Testing: Make It Part of Your Test Strategy.”
