QASymphony and Tricentis Join Forces to Provide a Market-leading, End-to-End Enterprise Testing Solution for DevOps

Today is a very exciting day for QASymphony and Tricentis as we announced our upcoming merger, which will allow us to create an end-to-end software quality solution that transforms software testing in agile and DevOps environments.

Tricentis’ innovative Continuous Testing platform has earned the company recognition as a leader among the top industry analysts, including Gartner, Forrester and IDC. QASymphony’s qTest platform is fast-becoming the de-facto quality hub, centralizing all of an enterprise’s testing efforts across roles (developers and testers) and tool types (commercial and open source). The combined solution represents the industry’s most modern platform for transforming software testing to keep pace with enterprise DevOps initiatives.

The combined company, which will maintain the Tricentis name, will continue to aggressively expand the Atlanta office. Tricentis’ CEO Sandeep Johri will serve as CEO, and I will serve as Chief Operating Officer.

QASymphony and Tricentis: Fueling Market Disruption

As I shared in our strategic vision earlier this year, QASymphony is committed to providing a modern alternative to dated legacy testing solutions that enables our customers to integrate testing into agile and DevOps workflows. The release of qTest 9 in March included new tools that are helping our customers scale test automation efforts and streamline behavior-driven-development. The addition of Tricentis’ market leading continuous testing solutions will significantly accelerate our vision to help our customers prioritize quality, develop more reliable software and increase speed to market in an age of digital transformation and market disruption.

On July 17, I will be joining Tricentis leadership in a webinar to discuss how our companies are joining forces to transform testing for DevOps.

An End-to-End Testing Solution

Like QASymphony’s qTest, Tricentis has done its own disrupting through replacing legacy test automation provided by Micro Focus ALM (Formerly HPE) with solutions for continuous testing.  Tricentis’ portfolio includes tools for:

  • Model based test automation
  • Risk-based testing
  • Service virtualization
  • Test data management
  • Cloud-based load testing

Combined with QASymhony’s leading integrations with Jira Software and open source automation tools, the new merger will deliver an end-to-end software testing solution tailored to the needs of today’s most innovative enterprises.

What’s Next?

Tricentis and QASymphony together will offer the modern software quality platform today’s leading enterprises have lacked. These solutions will enable these organizations to transform software testing to seamlessly integrate into the accelerated workflows that agile development and DevOps delivery require. This merger accelerates the delivery of our strategic vision to become the leader in modern software testing as we expand our global reach, invest in more R&D, launch global customer success initiatives and scale overall infrastructure.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will be sharing more details about the merger and our product integration plans. Stay tuned.
